Piper

Piper was my first senior dog, though I didn’t know it at the time. We thought she was younger than she was. She was a chihuahua mix and approximately 15/16 years old. As soon as I saw her on the adoption website, I knew she was mine. It was love at first sight for me. Unfortunately, we lost this sweet baby on May 25, 2023 to cancer. My heart still aches for her.

Piper was the sweetest little girl. Her and Snickers were bff’s. Always snuggling. Piper always groomed Snickers. They were almost inseparable.

Piper was found on the side of the road with her eye already missing, so we don’t know her history at all. I do know that regardless of her past, she was the most loving, gentle, sweet doggy. She was a big snuggle bug, always wagging her happy tail, and loved going on walks. I don’t think I will ever find a dog like Piper. She was one of a kind.
