Granny Snix Health update

In October, Snickers had surgery to remove a lump. This was the second time she had a lump in the same spot that had to be removed. The first time, it was nothing bad. This time, unfortunately, it is cancer.

The vet said that they were able to remove the whole tumor, however; it had narrow margins. So, the likelihood of it spreading is high. The vet also said they could go back in and try to get wider margins, however; it is not guaranteed and due to Snickers age the additional surgery is not recommended.

Right now there are no signs that she has cancer or that it has spread at all. We may be lucky and still get a lot of time left with her. We are just spoiling the heck out of her and treating her like the queen that she is.
