Elsie Jane’s Adoption Story

I can’t believe we have had Elsie over a year and haven’t written her adoption story, yet. The rescue posted pictures of this cute, long, chihuahua mix and I immediately fell in love. Like, head over heals in love with this little girl.

I told my husband we needed to get her. He said no, because we have too many dogs (is that even possible?!). But, eventually I wore him down. We were saying goodbye to our Walter boy, and my husband knew I needed this baby to help me through my grief.

So, we picked her up on a Thursday afternoon and she immediately became my favorite dog ever (don’t tell the others). She is my soul dog.
