Bentley Health Update
Last month, Bentley had a ruptured anal gland. I am happy to say, it has completely healed and there is no scarring at all.
He did have to go to the vet last week because he started peeing in his sleep. Luckily, the vet said it is mostly likely caused by his epilepsy medication + the steroids he got after the ruptured anal gland. Both of these medications on their own will cause increase in urination, so taking both together is likely the culprit.
The vet said to give it another 2 weeks for the steroids to get completely out of his system and if he is still peeing in his sleep, to bring him back in. He hasn’t done it in a few days, so I think he is okay now.
