Betty’s Adoption Story
Betty came to us in March as a foster dog with the intention to adopt her. We wanted to make sure she would get along with our other dogs, so we didn’t immediately adopt. This was because we had tried a different dog about a month before, and she kept attacking our dogs. It didn’t work out. I was honestly quite nervous about trying again. We weren’t even sure we wanted to try again.
Then we saw Betty and those ears. Both my husband and I were interested immediately. Since we had just tried a different dog and it didn’t work out, Betty’s rescue suggested fostering first.
Betty came to us underweight, with tape worms, and what we thought was her being in heat. Turns out she had a bad infection. She is now perfectly healthy and loved. She gets along well with our other dogs and adores me and my husband! We are so thankful we got to save this sweet baby.
