Snickers

Snickers is our granny. She is a 15 year old Min Pin, but you’d never know it if you met her. This poor girl had a rough life before she was rescued. She was at a breeder and they literally almost bred her to death. When she was rescued, she was pregnant (at 10 years old!) and the vet said that neither she, nor the puppy, would live so they had to terminate the pregnancy.

At some point, when Snickers was young and at the breeder, she injured her back leg. The breeder never got it fixed since it didn’t impact her ability to have puppies. So, now she cannot use that leg, but don’t worry – she gets along just fine. Unfortunately, due to years of not being able to use this leg, she does have a bit of arthritis in her back now.

Snickers also has chronic pancreatitis, but with a special diet she does just fine with that, too. All these things combined seemed to make her an undesirable dog, because she was with the rescue for awhile. But, I knew she needed a special place to “retire” so I adopted her and have spoiled her with love and everything else she could possibly want or need and she is thriving!

Granny Snix loves snuggling with her siblings, laying on the heated blanket, and hollering at everything outside. Seriously, everyone missed out on this precious girl.
