Elsie Jane’s Adoption Story

We adopted Elsie Jane in June. We weren’t planning on getting another dog. But, when I saw her I immediately fell in love. She reminded me so much of Piper – and I miss Piper badly. My husband and I discussed it, a lot, and finally agreed that we could adopt EJ.

Unfortunately, after we decided to adopt her, we were super busy – so we had to wait a bit to actually go pick her up. Y’all, waiting is not my strong suit…especially waiting for a dog.

Typically we adopt senior dogs. I just have a soft spot in my heart for them. EJ, however; isn’t even two years old yet. There was just something about her that called to me. Once we got her, I knew what it was – she is literally all the best parts of each of our dogs.
